Last Sunday, while sitting lonely during break time, I thought of doing something unusual... I thought of doing something I never used to do before... that is : watch the boys playing football! I've never really admired such a lovely view, but this one is rather animated... very animated!! That's why I wrote this poem, and that's why I called it : "Movement... Kinetic Energy... and Metabolism"
here it is:
As the bell goes, the sun shines brightly in their souls
As fast as light, they meet around their favorite old ball
Restless minds can't wait till the game would start
After dividing themselves into two, they suddenly run apart
It's movement... kinetic energy...metabolism...
Instantly, the faithful ball finds its way between their feet
with a smile, it quickly passes everyone, this is how it greets
being hit, passed on, flown in the air, smashed into a window
That is what it's made for, and the job it would gladly do
In this whole movement... kinetic energy... metabolism thing
Never standing still, jumping in the air, running from here to there
enthusiastic, burning with energy, and the excited expressions they wear
shouting, waving, and producing loud noises, not caring about other's criticism
They make a perfect animated scene, so indescribable, even for journalism
'Cause it's all movement... kinetic energy... and metabolism!
Things that couldn't be described by simple words or even a great poem!
